Even at basic levels of movement significant compensations can exist. An easy way to improve performance, strength and health is by discovering your FMS score. The simple grading system provides the therapist with an understanding of your personal movement deficiencies. During a Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Therapists and/or Personal Trainers assess seven specific movement patterns that are necessary in order to perform efficient human movement:
  •  Deep Squat
  • Hurdle Step
  • In-Line Lunge
  • Shoulder Mobility
  • Push-up
  • Active Straight Leg Raise
  • Rotational Stability

By ignoring movement dysfunction, we are ultimately training fitness on top of dysfunction and dramatically increasing the risk of injury. The body will always sacrifice movement quality for quantity. We need to eliminate these limitations and imbalances in order to produce efficient, pain free movements.

From your FMS results we are able to customize an individualized corrective exercise program based on your imbalances. By customizing your workout based on your individual needs you will be able to get the most out of your exercise routine.
