Dr. David Robertson studied Kinesiology at McMaster University and then completed his chiropractic doctorate at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2014 graduating with clinical honours. Dr. Robertson is currently a resident of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (RCCSS) and has completed his Masters of Science in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph in 2016. Along with his chiropractic education, Dr. Robertson is also trained in contemporary clinical acupuncture, Active Release Technique (ART), Functional Range Release Technique (FR), Fascial Movement Taping, Graston Therapy, Complete Concussion Management (CCMI) and is an emergency first responder.
He was a Medical Practitioner at the Toronto Pan Am Games in 2015, Ontario Summer Games in 2016 and North American Indigenous Games and Invictus Games in 2017. He previously worked in private practice in his hometown of Ancaster, Ontario and was the team chiropractor and trainer for the Ancaster Avalanche Junior B Hockey Team in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League from 2015 to 2017. He is also an on-field health care provider with the Ontario Provincial Developmental League (OPDL) for high level youth soccer.
Dr. Robertson has a keen interest in sports-related injuries and performance care. He utilizes an evidenced-based approach and patient-centered care to improve the health, function and quality of life of his patients.
