Briana graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then completed her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney in Australia.
Briana has experience in treating patients with various types of orthopaedic and sports related injuries; ranging from joint sprains, muscle strains and tendinopathies to rehabilitation for fractures and post-operative conditions. Briana includes education, manual therapy and exercise prescription as key components in her treatment programs to aid patients to return to full function and the activities they enjoy.
Briana attended the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course at McMaster University and is a certified provider of acupuncture. Briana has post-graduate training in Mulligan Concepts – Upper Quadrant, Kinesiotaping (KT1, KT2) and Functional Movement Screening (FMS1) and Corrective Exercise (FMS2).
Briana focuses on identifying the root cause of an injury and provides each patient with an active rehabilitation program to prevent recurrent injury.
